How Agile Are you? Discussing Maturity Levels of Agile Maturity Models

  • 📚 Published
  • 📍 SEAA2023
Based on a systematic mapping study and a systematic literature review, in this paper we draw a big picture of the field of agile maturity models. We focus on the investigation of maturity levels and their computation. An analysis of 19 agile maturity models yielded two dimensions of maturity levels: team-related and general maturity. For each dimension, we could derive seven (team) and eight (general) maturity levels. Furthermore, we could identity the practices used for evaluating/computing the maturity.

Breaking Old Habits: On Success Factors in Software Process Improvement

  • 📚 Published
  • 📍 ICSSP2024
In this paper a large-scale systematic mapping study is updated. 103 of the 168 publications that addressed success factors and barriers for data extraction were selected. We identified 1,320 success factors, which were reduced to 124 generic factors in a two-step analysis. An AI-based classification grouped these into 42 categories, defining the candidates for forming a set of generic success factors for software and systems development.

Enhancing Transparency in Space Metrics Use: Insights from an Initial Study

  • ✅ Accepted
  • 📍 PROFES2024
In regulated domains, like aerospace, metrics are defined and fixed, and often used in compliance analyses. Therefore, most customers often “just accept” the measurement packages provided by the suppliers. Nevertheless, standardized and potentially new/individual metrics are not explained and, therefore, require close collaboration and negotiation to make effective use of the measurement packages. This particular gap is addressed by the paper at hand by providing a tool to support the development and management of general metric catalogs and the derivation of project-specific measurement packages from this catalog.

About me

My name is Ksenia, I am originally from Ukraine and I have now found my heart and home in Hamburg. My journey began at university, where I discovered my passion for leadership and social engagement, and developed strong communication skills. Coupled with a solid technical background, this naturally led me to a career in IT management.

I am deeply committed to scientific research, believing it to be a powerful way to change the world. One of my proudest achievements was working on a research project funded by the German Aerospace Center.

Over the past six years, I have experienced significant changes, including moving to different countries and cities, which ultimately led me to Hamburg - a place where I truly belong. In my career, I look for long-term opportunities where I can invest my heart, mind and skills to make a lasting impact.
